Very clean spacious room, with comfy beds, smart TV with netflix, WiFi and a good sized kitchen. Staff were lovely and let us check in early. Only negative is the dated decor, just needs a facelift! Enough amenities in the kitchen for basic meals. Plenty of parking options. Central to town, within walking distance of everything.

The room was clean & comfortable, but the exterior is not well maintained - just outside our door the flooring had rotted and my partner almost went through the door. You had to go somewhere else to collect the keys & deposit them upon leaving - wanted to tell staff about the problem, but there was no one to speak to - left the keys with someone who represented the hotel in the parking lot where we picked up the keys - hope this wasn't a mistake?!

This is an essentially basic motel that looks quite dated, but OK considering prices in the area in the summer. The rooms were clean but the refrigerator was very noisy. The location in Ucluelet was fine and there were some good nearby restaurants.

Honteux, je ne comprends pas comment Hotel.com, peut autorisé des logements comme ça, c'est pas possible personne ne vérifie avant de répertorié un logement, sale, lit à moitié fait en arrivant, cuisinière rouillée, ustensile avec lesquels on a pas osé mangé, bouteille d'eau vide sous les lits, eau marron qui coule de. la douche...

We needed a base around Tofino/Ucluelet for a couple of nights. The pictures are deceptive - the motel is away from the dock in the pictures, the rooms are tired with limited plugs, not many functioning lights and despite advertising a kitchen, missing a number of essential items to cook a meal (utensils, cleaning products etc). Practical but not something that we were excited to come back to

Rather disappointed, definitely in need of an update. Old bathroom with a shower that was almost impossible to get to a permanent temperature, scalding or freezing. Sofa seat starting to drop. Walk way to room starting collapse. But on the plus side, TV, fridge, coffee machine & microwave worked. The room service, towels, coffee etc was good

Room was clean but lacked a few things as we come to go fishing every year for two days and we cook our two evening meals and go out for our last night. I assumed because it has a kitchen there would at least be salt and pepper, none. Also no medium to large bowls to make a salad. The amount of utensils was weak. Good sized fridge but it froze a number of our vegatables. We turned it down. Still go back its just 2 min to Jap dock.

It’s not easy to find an affordable place to stay in the Ucluelet/Tofino area, so we opted for the West Island Resort. The location is right in the harbour and within walking distance to the main road in town, so that was a plus. However, I would probably not choose to stay there again because the property is rundown (broken window shades, old furniture, uncomfortable double bed, etc) and the bathroom had not been cleaned thoroughly when we arrived. In retrospect, I wish we had paid a bit more money to stay somewhere else.

Loved our stay at this place! Great location, beds were comfy, and the kitchenette came in handy. There was no ac which is fine however, we noticed there were no screens on any of the units’ windows, therefore we couldn’t leave the windows open much was flies were coming in. Not sure if they’re in the process of replacing them but we were fortunate that the windows were at her house as cool, I don’t think it would have been manageable if the temps were high! Otherwise a lovely place!

The staff was very helpful and proactive. Check in was super easy. The property is a bit old. The place felt very dated. The water pressure in the bathroom was low. Location was great. Easy to get to everything in town. But the way the units were structured, meant there was no view.
