We live seeing the freighters on the river. We booked this hotel for a two night getaway and we absolutely loved it. The views were great. Our room was very clean and a mix of old school and modern. The pool was clean and perfect for the 98° days! They also have the River Crab restaurant attached to the property right on the water, and the food is amazing. Great get away and pet friendly…we will be back soon!

Nice view of the St. Claire River even if it was on the parking lot side to view the many freighters in passing.. Rooms clean and quiet. Added bonus was lunch at the River Crab fine restaurant in the same lot. Nice two day getaway on a belated spring week without driving too far from my home base.

The pool was shot down for repair. We had a noisy crowd of 15-20 people outside our room being loud until 1:30am, even though quiet time started at 11pm. Nothing was done about this. It was somewhat clean, but could have been better. The breakfast they offered was almost non existent. I’ve never seen such a poor selection. This was like staying at an old motel from the 60’s. The staff was nice, but I had trouble getting ahold of someone when I tried to call ahead of time to ask a question. It took over 25 hours for a call back. Apparently they were having trouble with their voice mail.
