Staff at check-in and during stay were excellent.

I believe this hotel has seen better days. The room was simple. The bed was comfy although at first they needed to change a sheet as there was a huge stain in it. The continental breakfast is set up weird and honestly not the best when you need to get peanut butter or jam from a big jar. But overall it was quiet and for just a place to crash and sleep it worked fine. Ample parking.

Overall, this hotel was OK. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the rooms were very dirty. There was trash, still under my bed and dirt along the moldings. Overall, this is a two out of five star hotel.

They didn’t have the room I booked avalible, the lock for our door wouldn’t work, we asked several times to have it fixed and they just shrugged it off. Had to wait 10 mins at the desk just to find someone to talk to. One of the worst I’ve ever stayed at

We stayed the weekend at this hotel, the hotel is clean and very convenient because it is within walking distance of almost anywhere in town including the lake. The only disappointment was that the exercise room was closed for renovations.

Stay away from the Almac hotel. Many rooms have the doors are kicked in, The main signage at the front of the building is broken and run down. The lobby is dirty and dark.

Great place for the price. The room was comfortable and the owner and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The owner is in the process of upgrading the facilities so it’s a work in progress but we would happily stay there again when we are in town.

Rooms were clean, friendly staff and continental breakfast had lots of coffee and variety.

Not a terrible place to stay for the price. Rooms were clean, air conditioning worked. The security around the property can be an issue. It’s Lac La Biche after all.

Breakfast was not edible, put in wrong room, weird smells, bed uncomfortable, pillows are flat, poor cleanliness.

Comfortable, clean & great staff. Very close to a major supermarket and a main shopping area.

The Almac is affordable. My room was clean & comfortable. I appreciate the convenience of the continental breakfast. The motel is quiet even though it is on a busy street. Amenities like shopping & dining are close by. But it is the friendly & helpful staff who make my stays there enjoyable.

Almac is a modest motel but has everything I need: it’s clean, comfortable & convenient. And the staff are always pleasant & helpful.
