Good experience and lovely grounds. Sadly we were there for a wedding so did not get to use the spa or gym but heard they were good. Room solid and staff friendly. Recommend this hotel.

I have stayed in this hotel many times, and not had an issue. On the occasion, the reception was very understaffed at all times and the bar was too with only one experienced member of staff who tried his best. Long waits for drink and food orders and when food came with no knives and forks despite requests for some they didn’t arrive until after we’d ate our food with our hands. The fire alarm went off twice and no one came to see if we were ok or tell us to enter the building. Time to find a different hotel in the area.

The staff are young and very inexperienced, and don't care about the client,the food at the bar is horrible, using leftover bacon to put on my burger for the evening meal,attended the empty restaurant only to be told if I haven't made reservations no food.

Schönes Hotel auf dem Land mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Ich war für eine Konferenz dort und dafür eignet es sich sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind ruhig, die Betten gemütlich. Zum Essen kann ich wenig sagen, da ich dort kaum gegessen habe. Die Stadt ist mit dem Auto in etwa 20 Minuten erreichbar.

We came to the Norton Park 3 years ago and returned because it was so excellent. Whereas the hotel is still amazing, standards have slipped unfortunately. There are a small number of staff that have so much potential but lack management guidance. The grounds are magnificent but the fabulous woodland walk that was there 3 years ago has become overgrown so the walks we had with our dog were contained more to the manor house and hotel which was a shame. We also missed the rope swing that hung from the bought of the tree by the pond. Would still recommend

Had a great one night stay in two double rooms. Plenty of parking. Warm and welcoming staff. Great food and service in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, and in the bar and outside terrace area. Used the gym which is small but well equipped. Overall an enjoyable stay and will go again.

A very large hotel and finding the room was very challenging. The receptionist was very unhelpful and didn’t appear interested in our questions at all. The bar service was appalling with at least a 10 minute wait every time you wanted a drink. The second bar had no draft beer at all. Breakfast staff were very pleasant and helpful although the breakfast itself was not fantastic. Overall the service let down what should have been a very nice stay

Overall one of the worst Spa hotels I've stayed in. I was put in room 280 out of 290 odd rooms. Was a fair distance to get to. I was travelling for business, and I was woken up at 4am by dogs barking. When I asked the women at reception if she was fully booked she said no. I then explain I was woken up by dogs barking and she said my room was in the dog friendly section? WHY!!! The spa was dated, steam room had no steam. Are in the restaurant and the food wasn't nice and expensive. A fellow traveller next to me asked for his wine when I asked for my beer with our meals. The drinks arrived when we finished. I experienced the same standards as a premier inn but for 3 times the piece. And no care to my complaints either,

Overall a good experience. We upgraded to a deluxe room as our original room had no a/c ( which I find odd for a modern hotel). The upgrade was definitely worth it; a bigger room, nice free minibar and Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine. The hotel was nice and quiet and had a relaxing feel. Staff were friendly if not super service minded however, this did not detract from the experience. Food selection was adequate but not mind blowing - the burger was very nice. The setting was lovely as was the surrounding area.
