The hotel was clean and the front desk staff was fantastic. The attached mineral pool was horribly dirty. There was a thick ring of scum around the edge of their cool pool, the pool deck was very dirty (kids socks soaking in the water puddles) and the hot pool had parts of the ledge that was lifting where it smelt like mold was living in generous amounts. The change rooms were soaking wet with hair on the floor (both days of my stay so clearly wasn’t being cleaned well). It was very gross and off putting. I booked a facial for my stay and it wasn’t worth the money at all. The room was freezing cold, there was water stains on the ceiling and the esthetician was very quick with her service then removed my socks putting a hot towel on my feet and then proceeded to leave the room for 15 minutes. My feet were freezing from the towel that quickly turned cold in the already cold room. I paid $110 and a quarter of my service I was left alone. I could have just bought their mud mask and put it on myself in the hotel. The lady at the front desk was rude both while booking, and taking my payment (the night staff was great). Overall this was a horrible stay for what you’d expect out of a weekend away at a known spa facility. This was my first visit so I’m not sure if this is normal or just a staffing issue but either way I wouldn’t recommend this for a relaxing weekend away.
