What a great little spot. The hotel was very historic the bar and gril good. Had fun playing pool with a couple of local woman - so welcoming and friendly. Will definitely go back. If you are there, you must check out the rock art around town. Very impressive

Everything was great with our stay except the first night (Thursday) was karaoke night in the pub from 9pm until close, and our room was right above the pub. We were warned going in that it can be noisy, so we weren’t surprised. At least the one singer sounded a lot like Elvis! The other two nights were much quieter. Great location. Huge room.

Amazing stay in a quaint historic town

This suite had been renovated and it was done very modern. We stayed on a Saturday night the first stay of our Kootenay road trip. We got in at 9ish and the only place open was the subway for food. This was an amazing stay we would definitely stay again and this time longer to adventure around town.

The check in was quick and efficient at the hotel bar. The room was surprisingly spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. There was also a decent sized kitchenette, far better than many other Motels I’ve stayed at. Salmo is a small town so don’t expect lots of restaurants although there was a local brewery serving food just a couple of minutes walk away as well as the hotel bar. A couple of other stores which were shut by the time I had arrived.

This is an old hotel/pub. There is lots of character. If you are looking for a modern chain, this is not it.
