Very charming B&B in a historic Ontario stone farm house. The house has been beautifully restored and modernized. There’s a self contained suite and two other rooms that share a bathroom. For most of my four days I was the only guest. The bed was super comfortable with quality sheets. Breakfast was a delight, not your standard bacon and egg fare, although I’m sure they’d whip that up if you asked. The Stonegate would be perfect for a romantic get away.

This was our second "get away" visit. Once again we found the quiet, pastoral setting and fabulous healthy breakfasts allowed us to quickly relax and after just two nights, leave with a renewed sense of optimism and calm. We look forward to returning.

I had a good stay there. Staff was great and overall environment was clean and comfortable. Only item to critique is it was a bit warm upstairs in the summer heat which was well handled by a ceiling fan BUT the fan rattled all night long.

This place was absolutely wonderful! The building is beautiful with lovely decor. There's a super cute coffee bar, a screened patio, beautiful grounds, and a peaceful space to read and relax by a pond. Our host was great, and we got to enjoy fresh produce from their garden. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love the ambiance of this quiet bed and breakfast retreat. My room and the bed were super comfortable. There are beautiful outdoor spaces including a screened porch, pathways for exploring, a yoga studio, a fire pit, and a delightful garden! I particularly enjoyed the breakfasts the proprietor (amazing chef!) provided each morning! Next level delicious! The surrounding area has something for everyone; hiking trails, antique shops, coffee shops featuring local artists, cycling trails, farmers markets, a marina, vineyards, historical sites, peace and quiet. Whatever your heart desires!

What a beautiful, quaint B&B. My daughter and I felt so at home here, and she actually asked if we could live there. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the host and hostess were wonderful to talk to. So friendly and we're quick to ask if there was anything we needed. Will definitely stay here again sometime, I look forward to seeing what it looks like in the other seasons.

We loved everything about our stay. Lots of attention to little details in restoring this comfortable, historical farmhouse into a great getaway retreat. Facilities for campers, glampers and 3 comfortable, cozy upstairs bedrooms. A great eclectic library (everything from Keith Richards to the original Winnie the Pooh collection!) And ...the "Dutch Baby" breakfast was a real highlight! Thanks!

Highly recommended!

This is one of the cleanest places among many many that we stayed. Bed is very comfy, The owner Dave is very kind, it was a good time to chat with him, unfortunately we couldn’t stay longer and chat more. Very enjoyable stay! Should take more photos but didn’t, the photo is part of the breakfast.

What a wonderful B&B experience. We booked this place on a whim coming back from the Thousand Island border crossing and how lucky I feel that we did. From the homemade chocolate chip cookies to the beautiful restored farmhouse with comfy beds and absolutely delicious gourmet breakfast, every detail was well planned and perfect. The owners Alicia and David are extremely nice and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place and hope to return soon!

Quiet and Historic

Harlem Stonegate is a beautiful building, and the renovations make it as comfortable as can be expected, provided that you know what to expect when booking an historic lodging. Naturally, rooms will be small and there won't be modern conveniences such as central AC, elevators, etc. The breakfast here was lovely and the proprietors friendly and accommodating.
