Booked in a hurry upon arrival. Rate was cheap. But that's the only positive point of it.
The facility is about 2 years old, but either construction was inferior or maintenance is bad, clothe hooks on the wall were already coming loose. Overall the hardware is new but really inferior quality.
It hosted a couple tour buses each night. I guess that's their primary client source. These neighbours were loud and rude. They would chat w/ their room doors open late at night, and both young kids and adults were simply ignoring any courtesy of sharing the same space w/ other residents in the building.
I deliberately confirmed at front desk that my room is non-smoking, and was told that the whole facility is non-smoking. But, my bathroom was filled w/ smoke smell through vent multiple nights! Called front desk and had no one respond. I had to close the bathroom door so the smell doesn't get into the living space as badly. It was terrible.
Location of the hotel is really in a remote corner of the city. The best way out is using a bus, route 791, to get to the Nanjing South train station. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Bus itself runs about every 30 minutes, and the ride is about 1 hour. Taking cab is not recommended because of rude cab drivers I had.
Last, staffs were indifferent. When I asked her to help hail a cab (and I will pay) because my phone can't, she showed I was such a hassle. That's not warm feeling. I found the bus by myself later.
