Porta Nuova is Milan’s central business district and a fantastic area for a shopping spree. After 2 decades of urban revitalisation, the former industrial area is a vibrant zone packed with green spaces and pedestrianised walkways lined with shops, bookstores, bars, and restaurants. Stroll along the trendy Corso Como pedestrian-only street and pop into jewellery and clothing boutiques. A popular stop is 10 Corso Como, a concept store that houses a boutique, art bookstore, and gallery.
If you feel like splurging, shops along Via Castelfidardo promise original collections of designer women’s bags and clothing. And at the modern Piazza Gae Aulenti, you can browse several shops and department stores housed in shiny buildings, including Muji, Nike, and Sephora.

Rinascente Milano Piazza Duomo is one of Milan's most popular department stores. You can find a wide variety of merchandise, from designer clothing to cosmetics. The store also has a food court on the top floor with several different dining options. The outdoor dining spot is a great spot to re-fuel while soaking up fantastic views of the Duomo.
Visitors can sign up for a discount card, and if you live outside the EU, go to the 6th floor to validate your tax refund, and then get it verified at the airport. Located in the heart of the city, a 1-minute walk from Milan Cathedral, Rinascente is easily accessible.

Chinatown Milan

With an emphasis on quality and value, the place for leather shoes, belts and bags is around Via Paolo Sarpi in Milan’s Chinatown. It is a bustling working-class district, north of Parco Sempione.
