Named after the late actor Alberto Sordi, the Galleria Alberto Sordi is a covered shopping arcade that’s home to fashion stores, a bookshop, and a couple of cafés. Keeping in line with the arcade’s heritage, it was restored to its former glory in 2003. Check out the stained-glass ceiling while window shopping and people-watching.

While you’re in the area of the Galleria Alberto Sordi, we recommend stopping by nearby attractions such as the Colonna di Marco Aurelio, the Palazzo Ferrajoli, and the Obelisk of Montecitorio. The famous Trevi Fountain is also just a short walk away.

La Rinascente is a luxury department store in the heart of Rome, situated between the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. This massive shopping space is spread across 6 storeys with over 1,300 square metres of floor space. Here, you’ll find labels including Gucci, Michael Kors, Stone Island and Swarovski. You can also visit Rome’s very first Alexander McQueen.

Visit La Rinascente just after 10 am to avoid jostling with crowds, or browse this department store over the weekend if you enjoy people-watching while shopping. The Trevi Fountain bus stop is located right outside the building.

One of Rome’s largest shopping malls, the Port of Rome boasts over 250 stores plus a host of restaurants and cafés. There are also children’s play areas and a movie theatre with 24 screens. Goods sold include clothing, beauty products, electronics and accessories. It’s one of Rome’s best shopping destinations for Italian flagship brands.

The Port of Rome shopping mall is located to the far north of the Italian capital, easily reached by driving along the A90 to exit number 10. The mall can get busy on any day after noon, making the best time to visit around 10 am.

Linea Verde Outlet Vescovio is the place to go if you're looking for beautiful designer clothing and accessories at outlet prices in Rome. You can pick up great deals on clothing for both men and women, including summer dresses, evening attire, Bermuda shorts, jackets, and shoes.

There's also a selection of elegant earrings, bracelets, and leather handbags. The brightly lit store is located just outside the centre of Rome in the suburb of Trieste, but it's worth the trip for true fashionistas.
