Parco Savello in Rome is a 7,800 square-meter park known locally as the Orange Trees Garden, offering gorgeous views, romantic surroundings and historic structures. The park is nicknamed for the groves of bitter orange trees that grow within. It's also known as one of the most romantic parks in the city, very popular among places for a proposal.
The park is named for the Savelli family who built the ancient fortress from which it extends, with the current garden on the site built in 1932 by Raffaele de Vico. People come here for history, spectacular sunset views and romantic getaways.

The garden was constructed in 1932 to offer public access to astounding hillside views of the city. It's famed for its spectacular sunsets, which provide fantastic photo opportunities.
Other historic features of the park include the Roman thermal bath and the monumental marble mask originally carved to decorate a fountain in 1593. Today, the fountain is an iconic part of the park. Finally, the park's bitter orange trees are a wondrous sight to behold.
