"We loved the Shanghai-La! The staff was wonderful, the rooms are clean and large , great location - a few minutes walk to the Esplanade!"

"Very tired but clean room. The view was excellent and the size of the room was good. Breakfast was quite basic but tasty. I approached a staff member during breakfast for a couple of extra serviettes and her response was " well you could have gotten them from over there" as she pointed to the desk at the entrance to the restaurant. To be fair I had searched everywhere else prior to asking. I advised her I would certainly do as she suggested and got them myself. She did then approach me later with some extra serviettes but to be honest I was pretty disgusted at her attitude. Both check in and check out was very quick and easy and the staff at the front desk polite and efficient."

"Excellent accommodation — clean, tidy, and the amenities are very good. The only point to note was the bed. I booked a king bed, but it was actually two single beds pushed together, which was uncomfortable for a couple due to the large gap between the mattresses."

"We booked a room with a water view for one night and was very happy. Friendly staff upon check in, very helpful and lovely. The room was exceptionally clean, the bed was comfortable and the view was awesome! Really wished we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!"
