I stayed at Invermere Inn and Suites on August 11–12, 2025, and was shocked to find a blood stain on the bed upon arrival. The front desk staff were kind, professional, and confirmed the stain in person. Unfortunately, management’s response was extremely disappointing.
They acknowledged the mark but claimed it was a “residual stain” from laundering. Regardless, blood is a biohazard and should never be present on guest bedding. This is a serious sanitation concern, not a minor inconvenience. I also experienced skin irritation afterward.
Management offered only a $30 discount as a “goodwill gesture,” which is not appropriate for a health-related issue. While the front desk team did their best, the decision from management showed a lack of accountability and concern for guest safety.
I have reported the matter to Interior Health – Environmental Public Health for investigation. Until proper cleaning and inspection standards are implemented, I would not recommend staying at this property.
