The Spa Hotel
8/10 Good
"Property and grounds were excellent, beautiful. The rooms could do with a little modernization but I completely understand as the age and history of the building. I had a great time, easily accessible to town and the commons."
The George in Rye
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful front desk! Enjoyed a lovely dinner and drinks on the back patio."
Hamlet Hotels Maidstone
8/10 Good
"Would say the staff were friendly. Room could have been cleaner, not to say it was bad. The shower was either on the quite warm side or very hot, couldn't get it to run cool. As it was a one night stop over it wasn't too bad. For a longer stay would want a properly functioning shower."
Holiday Inn Ashford North A20 by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Greeted by a friendly reception member, check in was quick and easy. Our room on level 2 a family room was perfect for us very spacious and modern would highly recommend. Breakfast options good as well if travelling near would stay again definitely"
Ashford International Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel to stay overnight for early morning Le Shuttle connections."
King Charles Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed here to break up the journey driving from France to Manchester and chose it largely based on price so I wasn't expecting much and therefore was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very clean, rooms were a good size, beds really comfy and staff welcoming and professional. Kids loved the fishtanks, a great touch. Breakfast was really busy at 9am but the staff worked hard. Cereal, toast, coffee and a full English were all had. My only criticisms are that the room was a bit dated and the bathroom needs a facelift. The shower was powerful enough but the showerhead was fixed and low (I'm only 6ft) so a bit awkward. The tv is small and far away from the bed but that's just me being picky. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely stay here."
Royal Wells Hotel
8/10 Good
"A very nice hotel with some very nice touches such as nice soaps, towels and an excellent cooked to order breakfast. Didn’t use the bar but it had a nice selection of beers in a comfortable environment. Rooms appear to be slightly dated and no air conditioning but a fan is provided, overall an enjoyable comfortable stay and I recommend it."
Bridgewood Manor
8/10 Good
"Breakfast excellent but the meat at theSunday carvery wasn't covered by staff all the time and consequently blue bottle flies were walking over the roast beef which put you off. When said about it to the staff member she just smiled and gave a little laugh. Not the most suitable answer. Otherwise the stay was very good."
The Royal Oak Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The staff were very friendly on check in. Room was very clean could have done with a chair. The mini fridge and breakfast basket in the room was a very pleasent surprise. Restaurant is not open most days anymore due to no chef. Pubs coffee shops and takeaways are very close to the hotel to get a meal."
