"The breakfast and most of the staff was amazing. The girl at the desk when we checked in needed to work on her people skills, besides that it was a very nice stay."

"The room service was terrible; they hadn't stocked the bathroom with toilet paper or toiletries, so we had to call to have them delivered. They hadn't even cleaned the room—the entire floor was covered in sand, and there was hair in the toilet and on the floor. The rooms look much more spacious in the photos than they do in person. Aside from that, the outdoor facilities were excellent, and the hotel itself is very beautiful."

"I get the whole minimalistic concept for Tru by Hilton, but this room was so minimalistic that it was uncomfortable. It was way too cramped for our liking. Very clean. Very nice soaps and lotions included. But the shower heads let out a weak stream of water. I do appreciate the fact that there is no carpeting on the floors! No musty smell! Overall though, not my cup of tea because of how cramped the quarters were. It was so uncomfortable. We were in a queen room. "
