"This was a very pleasant surprise. The apartment is very cozy, spacious, clean and has everything you would want.
Especially enjoyed walking through the property and enjoying the view from the balcony out towards the gardens. Had a great walk to the canal and lift locks the next morning which was very picturesque!
An added bonus is the great shopping you can do for plants/flowers and even unique gifts! A great store that the owners run, one that you can spend a lot of time looking through...

"The property is lovely.
It is so quiet and peaceful. Our room was very spacious and clean. We had our own private patio outside our room where we could sit and relax.
The staff was so friendly and accomodating.
It was the perfect overnight.
They do over spa treaments (we had the Indian head massage which was so relaxing). There are also 2 inncredible massage chairs for guests. There are yoga/meditation etc. classes that you can book.
I highly recommend this wonderful place and cannoy wait to...

"Overall, very comfortable stay. The room cleanliness and housing keeping were good. The bathroom door of my room was jammed and could not be locked. Finer detail should be paid to cleaning the bathroom and bathroom sink area, and room carpet. "

"This hotel is our families go to every time we are in Whitby for a sports event. It is in the centre of all the arenas and the hotel is always quiet, clean and all the staff are so friendly. I love that I can do my laundry before I go home."

"Extremely hospital & higher level of aminities. Only bad thing were the beds. Extremely soft because of age I think. Please fix that as mattresses should be at least a 6-7 firmness…. Not 2-3. (Way too old & soft). I asked for something firmer but front desk said there was nothing else??? I believe it’s next to impossible to not have a firmer bed in all those rooms???"
