Hotel is clean but feels old in the end, the beds are super comfy and soft, everything in the room worked fine and our stay was good for the time we actually spent there. Right in the center of everything. The only couple things is morning staff we had to ask twice for clean towels and it's been long time I don't have to worry about a deposit at check-in.. that was unexpected.

My wife and I were traveling from Toronto to Nova Scotia and started with a short drive to Peterborough. I booked ahead and there are modern opportunities in Peterborough but generally I am attracted to older, traditional hotels, which includes the risk that it is going to be a disappointing experience. But it was the prefect choice! We liked the more traditional, classic atmosphere in this hotel. This includes the location in a row of buidings in a common main street down town. Parking is allowed for (un)loading before free parking in a garage close by. Very well organised! We loved the lobby. The room was simple but nice, the bed was good. Breakfast was included, not fancy but good. Keep in mind that prices are very reasonable, so all together I find you get a lot of value for your money. If my comments appeal to you, don't hesitate and book this hotel for your stay in Peterborough.
