"Lovely maintained gardens around the hotel and scenery next to the beach in general - great sea views from the Privilege room. Nice dining (buffet) area outdoor and indoors (El Jable restaurant). The pools were great. Very happy with our stay (1 week). "

"Balcony view onto a side street. Breakfast was fine. Very dated hotel. Booked very last minute due to a missed flight. Fine for an emergency. Had to ask for pillow cases and was only one sheet on the bed, this could have been due to arriving 20 minutes after booking . . . . Pancakes at breakfast were a joy"

"There is so much to be impressed by at this hotel. When walking through the main entrance you are surrounded by Spanish culture. The breakfast has everything you would expect in a big hotel croissants, coffee, cereal, cheeses and meat etc. but in a beautiful Spanish room. There is a sitting room with piano, a small library with table. The room had lots of beautiful furnishings. The balcony had table and two chairs. Everything in the Expedia photos is what you will see."

"Vilaflor is a charming village and a great base for visiting Teide National Park. Alta Montana is an equally charming hotel with easy parking, has clean and spacious rooms, and friendly staff. "

"This is a great location for Masca (take the bus!), Los Gigantes and Teide national park by car. The hotel is a very attractive building with good parking in nice setting. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is good. Our room was clean and spacious but could perhaps do with a refresh. The ability to get a beer before 6.30pm would be good!"

"Room 401 & it’s balcony wete both enormous. Views were amazing Location excellent. Nearby supermarkets were convenient. Comfortable bed Full kitchen with fridge freezer. Very welcoming staff. Good to have a lift as we were on the 4th floor "

"our room was huge and spotless , staff were super friendly and helpful , no room service however we had a washing machine so preferred cleaning our own towels and super handy cleaning our clothes. The pool was lovely and was super quiet . we loved everything about our stay here and will certainly be back "

"Amazing room. Such a good design, and loads of space. Staff were helpful whenever needed. We had a problem with a blocked drain and it was fixed in less than half an hour of us telling them. Would stay here again, very quiet and out of the way with lovely scenery. Healthy breakfast but for kids or people who don’t eat a lot of fruit of veg probably not good. I absolutely loved it"

"2nd year and still our preferred destination during the Winter. Only difference from last year was the Agave restaurant. Was fantastic in 2024, but the new 2025 menu was not up to Agave standard. Warm dishes served cold while the wines where hot. Already looking forward to come back to our favorite Meliá resort next year👍👌"
