North Amsterdam is much quieter which I appreciated. The round the clock 24/7 staff was always super friendly and helpful, accommodating and attentive to their guests.

I have stayed in several different hotels in Amsterdam. This is the best hotel for the average person -- noting I am sure there are some nicer hotels that would cost $400 a night. This hotel is perfectly located between the Museum Quarter, the old section, next to Rembrandt Square, very close to the mile long walking mall, near other great shopping streets. The property is nice and clean. Great place for event. Close to metro ( one stop away to Amsterdam central) . Breakfast was nice. Staffs are friendly. The only downside is no stores or restaurants around the area. Theres two restaurants on site. The next door casino has restaurant but does not allow minor to enter.
Top notch in all areas of a stay in Amsterdam. Had a corner room with glass on both walls. Just a great feel and elegance to stay. Would have given 6 stars if an option. Can walk to Musueum district. Loads of bike paths. Breakfast buffet quality is a whole new level. Like being between airport and city center.
I arrived 6:00 a.m., I was tired, I was hot, I look like I had beaten with a wet towel. I was so grateful when the gentleman looked at me and he said we'll get you into a room right away. I had been traveling for 19 hours. They got me into a room and it was beautiful, it was clean and it was cool. I was out like a light! I can never thank them enough for their kindness and checking me in so early in the morning.
We found our home away from home at the NH Amsterdam Noord! The hotel was very accommodating, comfortable, and provided all of the necessities we required. Since we were driving this trip, we need a hotel with a car park and preferably at no additional charge. The NH had an ample sized lot with plenty of spaces. We would like to appreciate the excellent service we received at front desk since our flight from Ireland was early and our rooms were not ready yet. The front desk expeditiously attempted to have the rooms ready as soon as possible, and they did! The rooms were clean and huge. And the buffet selections were impressive. The free shuttle service to the airport was a plus. We will surely use this hotel once we come back to Amsterdam again!
