This is a hidden gem that I literally stumbled upon. This area is famous for agriculture so the food was sourced locally and amazing. The staff is international so even if you don't speak much Japanese you will be fine. It is peaceful and fun to walk around the area. We even met a young tomato and melon farmer who showed us his greenhouse. It was like staying in a ancient Japanese palace in a very local village. If you like Japan this hotel should be on your bucket list. Located right on the beach in Minamichita and within walking distance to several nice restaurants. Our room had a spectacular sea view. We had dinner at the Seaside Capri restaurant next door. The waiter had an Ipad with a picture menu for us. Being a typical Japanese Ryokan you change into a yukata. (The yukata is a casual version of the kimono.)

We love Comfort Hotel ERA Ise. The front desk staff and housekeepers are very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. Shower-head provides large, powerful water spray action which was superb. Comfy beds. The breakfast is delicious and the lobby library lounge area has available snacks and drinks from 10am - 11pm. Limited parking on property, but there is a public parking area within a minute walking distance. Great location close to many good restaurants, shops, train...
Exceptional Hospitality & Japanese Style Beachside Hotel. They had everything, beautiful reception area cocktail lounge, a lookout for sunrise & sunset. Plus they made us a very fancy dinner & breakfast even had a private shuttle spared no expense. Truly an awesome experience.
Walkable (via outside) distance from the airport. They have a special check-in and check-out machines at the front desk to prevent the virus contact, and an English-speaking staff helped me using the machine. Cozy room with a card key. One unhappy thing (not related directly to the hotel) was that the cashier at the convenience store (FamilyMart) on the ground floor of the hotel's property—I encountered two young girl as a cashier at different time, and both of them didn't speak English at all....
