Great value for money, terrific location. During this visit to Bali we stayed in a 5 star luxury hotel, a ‘6 star’ private villa and here at the Balangan Surf Resort. The others were great, but value for money wise, this was a standout, not mention that the room was great! Quiet but efficient AC, multi voltage wall outlets with USB ports, and the best shower of any of them.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this villa. The space was immaculate — beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and the pool was stunning. What really set it apart though was the staff; Nomang and Wiwik were incredibly kind and helpful, and the whole team went above and beyond throughout our stay. The hospitality was truly exceptional. They arranged a complimentary airport pickup for our 1am arrival without us even having to ask, and when we got to the villa the staff were there waiting...

We did a lot of research before choosing Gending Kedis and it exceeded all of our expectations. It's in an idyllic setting, a bit removed from the fray but still convenient to beaches, nightlife, etc. in Kuta and Seminyak. The staff were very attentive, kind and gracious. This was by far the best experience for my first time in Bali. The staff was amazing! The quality of service was outstanding. I wish I could’ve stayed longer. I definitely recommend travelers to come here.

Look, this place is cheap and has spa and restaurant. It’s perfect for what it is. It’s a quieter part of town in general so don’t blame the resort for being on the sleepier side. The reviews complaining about bugs….there are bugs everywhere in Bali….get use to it. I enjoyed my stay here and especially loved the breakfast. Recommend!

The staff is amazing from the front desk to the kitchen staff all the way to housekeepers. Property has access to so many things other than GWK which is only a 15 to 20 minute walk.

It's not a bad property - it's just not real convenient to the beach. Also, no fridge or safe. In addition, my room happened to be a connecting room, and a lot of noise came through from the family in the room next door. But the restaurant is fairly decent.

This property is truly outstanding and very unique. The private pool is very large, super romantic, and a wonderful temperature. I travel all over the world and found this natural setting with two outdoor bathrooms to be so peaceful and relaxing that I have already rebooked and recommended to friends.
