The hotel is quirky in terms of decor but clean and comfortable with everything you need. Free parking is always a bonus as was the nice breakfast. The in-house brewery was a nice addition and the beer was great. Would definitely recommend!"

My double room was really nice, very clean but no bathroom, which was communal, I didn't realise this until I entered my room. Didn't notice this in the description, obviously my error. Shared bathroom wasn't a problem though, but will definitely want my own for the next booking. Bed was comfortable, pillows bit lumpy but I did sleep really well. Internet very good indeed, breakfast menu great...

Only problem was car parking facility, which was a council owned park opposite. Charges were very high hourly, £7 for a day.

"This chalet is just perfect, everything about the stay I could't fault. As it is the only chalet on the property you get complete privacy and your own field for activities with a lovely pond to walk around too. The lack of wifi is actually amazing and feels like a real getaway. The hot tub and firepit kept us entertained all evening anyway!
