The site said it was LGBTQ friendly and it really was as a LGBT couple celebrating a wedding anniversary we felt very comfortable here. Breakfast was really nice & a decent size. Regulations were adhered to. Wonderful location to explore York and a beautiful home to relax in at the end of day.
Rooms were large, kitchen was excellently equipped and the lounge room was perfect to relax in.
The host was friendly and happy to help with anything and the only downside is that we weren’t there for long enough. I can’t wait to come back! "

"The apartment is superbly located within 5 minutes walk of the Minster. Well appointed and very clean the apartment had everything we needed for a weekend stay.
There is an allocated parking space but be aware this is not on site but a couple of minutes walk in a pub car park.This was not a problem but the spaces are tight if you are driving a larger vehicle. Would definitely stay here again."

"Fabulous hotel. The food was first class, the staff were friendly and the service was excellent. We stayed in one of the cottages. everything was excellent, clean and comfortable, all the facilities you would except were available. If I am being pedantic, the decor in the cottage was dated compared to the main hotel, but some may love the styling.

"Overall a very pleasant stay, it was a very hot day so the room was hot but it did have portable fan. Welcome and service by the staff was excellent.
The main entrance door has a strong spring on it so very noisy when people allowed it to slam shut.
