"Room was clean. The front desk person when we arrived was very disengaged and just gave us the key and told us are room was available and where to go with no other interaction, but later other clerks were helpful with maps and directions, breakfast hours and location, etc. Breakfast was good the first day when we were there when it started the second day we went an hour after opening and many items were empty . The staff were trying to refresh and refill items but we didn't have the time to wait for some items. Go early. Our lake view was only a small opening (about 5-10 degrees) between two buildings in the distance as were all other balcony rooms at this hotel."

"Hotel is nice enough and clean with good lake views and just a quick walk to the water. It is further away from the station, boats and most shops but the panoramic walk between is very nice. I booked this hotel specifically partly due to the mentioned airport shuttle for a surcharge listed on expedia which does not exist. They offered to call a taxi for €180 which is hardly a "surcharge". Also I was frustrated by the lack of coffee or kettle in room; there was a breakfast available but hours were short so coffee wasn't available before my train. As long as you're ok w the above, good place to stay for the price just didn't have what I was expecting."

"Loved the hotel, surrounded by beautiful rose bushes! Stayed in room 341 with gorgeous lake view. Breakfast was great. The only thing is that's about a 20 minute walk to Stresa, however, the walk is beautiful along the lake. Highly recommend."

"Whilst hotel and facilities spa pool etc were amazing , improvements needed at breakfast , limited choice and to pay extra for such as fried eggs etc (€12 euros) bit steep. Overall would defo come back"

"La Palma was amazing! We stayed 2 nights in Stresa and absolutely loved this place. The crown jewel was the rooftop pool with an amazing view, and though it was a bit too cold to use the beach club pool by the lake, I can imagine it's an amazing experience as well. Parking on site, breakfast included, and perfectly located within the town. Will definitely stay here again!"

"Don’t fall for their scam , they advertise use if the facilities , but we had to pay extra 30 euro to use the pool abd gym . Manager was unreachable to resolve it in a business day ."
