"The property was recently upgraded. Incredible staff. The restaurant on the premises is aiming to become Michelin-starred. Breakfast experience is a must. Incredible view from the hotel overlooking the Douro River. 16 rooms total. The only issue that I have personally experienced is the air conditioner. Hopefully, the hotel at some point will address this issue. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay."

"If you can spring for the river view, you should. This was such a beautiful place to stay. Waking up to the views was so amazing. Easy walk across the bridge to the Ribeira district to watch the sunset and have some good food. The spa was great. All in all, a great place to r&r"

"This property had a great location to eateries. Many choices and the hotel offered lighter fare, which we took advantage of twice for lunch. We mostly used Bolt (like America's Uber) to get around town. All tours and drivers knew where our hotel was and transport was quite easy. The hotel was immaculately clean, our room was well appointed, with high end amenities. We had a balcony room, which was really nice in the mornings. The roof-top terrace was really nice in the afternoon."
