The rooms are wonderfully decorated - with a lightly off-beat, personal touch. Shower pressure - because that does really matter - is fab. One thing to be aware of - the property doesn’t have external bathrooms so once you’re checked out, you’re done."

We had the benefit of an outside patio adjacent to the street but enclosed in a small garden. We were impressed with the quiet. They have added shutters to silence the noise on top of modern windows. "Great location right in the middle of the market in central Catania and near bus and metro stops. Located in a condiminium on the 5th floor, the appartments are modern, clean and comfortable with air conditioning, and ours had a balcony. With the balcony doors closed you don't hear the street at all but we enjoyed opening them to hear the hustle and bustle of the market each morning and to enjoy the fab sunset with views of Etna each evening. "Casa D’aria is a quaint and lovely place for a vacation set in an ideal location in Catania. The eclectic style of the entire building is so interesting and homey. We had excellent communication with the owners leading up to our check in. The room was massive! With the comfiest bed tucked up on a loft. We made use of the full kitchenette and our room even had a washer to do our laundry. The rooftop communal terrace was a great place to enjoy a bottle of wine and listen to the sounds of Catania....

"It is right in the middle of the coolest part of Catania. Good reasonable restaurants with nice, friendly staffs. You MUST SEE the Roman amphitheater a few blocks away! The rooms are big and clean, coffee maker, light breakfast food provided, oranges and bananas in lobby. Great shower and small, cool balcony for fresh air. Taxis have trouble finding it. You have to book them through Uber. Go to a nearby restaurant. **Your room door slides open** It took me awhile to figure that out. Duh!"
