"I have just spent 3 night and found the location perfect. My interest are the steam trains there. The room was clean and tidy. The only thing missing is tea and coffee making facilities? But you can obtsin this from reception. Parking was a bonus free, unlike in Berlin today. The place to stay if you just want to travel to the top of the Brocken mountain. Also speak good english as the morni g person comes from U K originally. "

"Should have been told it was not a hotel. Difficult to check in. Did not receive how to get Key to room instructions before I arrived or instructions on how to check out. Room had a kitchen but no silverware/utensils. I got to the address and wandered around for a half an hour trying to figure out how to get into my room or even where my room was after flying for 14 hours. "Fantastic place. Not fancy, but clean, friendly and just a great stay! Restaurant closed Mondays, but a nearby restaurant "Klippe" took care of us:-) after dark, we had to figure out to use the side door with our key card, but got it to work. Breakfast was great, staff amazing. Ate at restaurant the next day and it was fabulous! Also- the 'conference room' area has an honorary system: take a snack, beer or wine and deposit some cash into a little piggy bank! Love it!!!!"
