"Excellent staffs. Room has old carpet but very clean. Room is quite roomy. Noise insulation is not good. The location is of best choice. I like it and definitely stay again. "

"The Regent Hotel is in a great location. The breakfast buffet is 6 stars of 5 stars. Lots of variety - American, Chinese, Japanese, etc. The room was very clean and close to train station and shops. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Be very careful with this hotel’s front desk. We arrived early (6:30 AM) after a long flight from the U.S. with 3 kids and asked to pay for early check-in. They charged us $551 for one night, while the normal online price was about $330. This clearly felt like taking advantage of tired travelers. When we tried to file a complaint, the staff refused to give their full names and hid behind “privacy,” which makes no sense for customer-facing employees. Things escalated to the point where they even called the police — completely unnecessary and very unprofessional. Traveling with family should not be treated this way. This was one of the worst hotel service experiences we’ve had."

"This must be the best and most historic hotel in Asia. Huge comfortable rooms, delightful staff n and amazing foyer and facilities. Downside, the gym, sauna is a bus ride away, coffee from the cafe costs USD $11.20!"
