Old fashioned service but they are very professional and responsive on my concerns. Surrounding shopping and dining are easy reach.

If you are on a layover from the US , take time and stay here close enough to the airport by taxi! Morning breakfast is awesome

The hotel is very good, modern architecture and the food is very good. Location is amazing, just a short walk to some amazing restaurants and bars. Food in Cafe 49 which is part of the hotel has a wonderful ambiance and the pork knuckles is a must try.

Great location, walkable distance to many famous landmarks: Taichung Train Station, Miyahara store, Taichung City Hall. It is close to lots of good eateries, restaurants, and milk tea stores. At the corner, there is a bakery that we highly recommend; it has excellent sandwiches and is always crowded. The reception staff is very helpful.
