This is a quaint hotel. The bathrooms are brand new, but the rest of the hotel has an English feel that welcomes you. The elevators are very small, but we never had any problems using them. There is a wonderful bar and an excellent restaurant. The staff could not be nicer. We had a dedicated doorman who helped me in and out of taxis. We loved every minute of our stay and would highly recommend it.
We had an absolutely wonderful one-night stay at 41. We felt pampered from the minute that we entered 41. Extremely impressed with the whole experience. The entire staff at this hotel are extremely warm and friendly – genuinely so, and not just putting on a show. You are greeted by name by all the staff, and I was amazed that they all remembered details of our conversations, and would ask how we enjoyed the activities or meals that we experienced during our stay. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the location. Windows, etc had a lot of charm. Next to food hall and many nice restaurants. A small grocery store around corner at Victoria train station if you want a late night snack or wine. Also a bar in hotel. We really liked the breakfast. Would stay again as a couple. Would consider a different hotel if bringing our children. Small rooms.
Wonderful hotel in a convenient location in London but not in the hustle and bustle. We walked to everything but the Tower. Tube station very close. Concierges were outstanding. We had a problem with our room and they went above and beyond to resolve it. If we go back to London, we will stay here.
