I stay here frequently and it is always a great experience. Friendly, professional staff, excellent food and a great location. I am always happy to introduce friends to the hotel. Of course being able to walk to the farm shop is a bonus.
The staff was so helpful and so funny! The room was well small-ish but perfectly comfortable and the window opened for a nice breeze in the evening. The meals were very nice and the location/surroundings are beautiful!
Sue was great! Very attentive, and organized. Made sure that we were settled in properly. We even had a small refrigerator in our room! She thought of everything. Loved all of the flowers and plants in the front yard. Her home and rooms were lovely. Would definitely come back!
The hotel was beautiful and the outside scenery was amazing. I loved seeing the cows when I woke in the morning and the garden was awesome. I would stay here again if I were in this area.
I enjoyed my stay at Norcroft Guest House. The staff members are kind. I was able to check-in early and was so grateful for that. I was offered a slice of lemon cake on arrival (delicious!) and offered fruit to take on my last morning when I wasn't going to be there for breakfast. The breakfast was tasty and delivered to my room at the time I requested. I would definitely stay here again if ever in Penrith in the future. Thank you! Hazel, Ian and Auntie Chris were wonderful hosts. We had a shared bathroom that was no problem. Beautiful old manse with attractive, professionally gardened grounds. Room was like out of a movie. Orchids, fresh flowers, beautifully furnished and kept. Bathroom was huge with upscale amenities. Royal Worchestershire china and nicknacks. Breakfast included and fit for royalty. We had a lovely, but too short stay here. We were easily able to check in and had a nice night's rest. Breakfast in the morning was lovely and very generous.
I can't say enough good things about my stay here. 1st was how safe myself and my husband felt leaving me alone at the hotel for several days while he worked. It was an amazing rejuvenating stay..amazing spa, meals, room, views, walking trails...I can't wait to go back. This is my go to spot for life!
