Room was clean and warm. They accommodated an early checkin and held our suitcases for us after checkout. Victor had local knowledge of the cruises and cycle hire. Will be staying here again

Great location, very handy having a parking spot in Ambleside. Well situated, short walk into town and very handy for the cinemas & restaurants. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and freshly cooked to order. Lovely big room with a great view. Thought it might be noisy as it's by the main road but this wasn't a problem at all.

It was alright, the staff were nice. Location was fantastic just walks away from waterhead, town centre and other places. Room was clean but on the table there was a green fly, must have slipped in from the window. Other than that it was pretty nice.

We chose the small double room to keep our costs down. This was fine for one night. Clean & comfortable. Very convenient for visiting Ambleside especially having a car park.

The hotel is situated a short walk from the centre of Ambleside and has a lovely dining room and sitting room. The staff were most helpful. Breakfast was included and there was a large range of possibilities to choose from. We wished we could have stayed longer!
