"We are an elderly couple & had a four hour journey through difficult weather.
A staff member happened to be outside when we arrived & unasked, helped with parking, unloaded our luggage & took it to our room. On registering we were invited to rest in the lounge, served tea & assisted with telephoning. The room was very comfortable & clean. Breakfast excellent. All the staff were well turned out, friendly & helpful. On departure our luggage was carried from our room & placed in our car. "

This time we where in the Block next to the duel carigeway and it was very hotso window had to stay open so lots of traffic noise

"I would highly recommend this hotel. We had a Valley view room, which was super spacious with amazing views of the deer park. We also had dinner in Smiths Brasserie, which was informal but with very tasty food and great service."

"this is a wonderful hotel, a hidden gem just outside the town, but a pleasant walk via its gardens. it has a super pool, often we were the only ones using it. the food was really good, staff friendly and helpful. a lovely place to stay."

"Can’t fault our stay at the sea trout, the staff were so helpful and welcoming. The room was fine, not anything special but lovely and clean. We were staying in the area for a wedding, without a car it’s quite hard to get around although the hotel were really helpful with providing local taxis. If you’re staying here, would recommend eating in the restaurant, the food was amazing! Would recommend"

"The Globe is a great pub/ bed and breakfast. The room we had was large and clean with a en-suite shower room. The breakfast was excellent and you can choose what you like from their cooked breakfast list the night before.The village of Buckfastleigh is very nice and you have the Abbey and moors on your doorstep.
