"I have stayed a few times nice hotel the main areas of hotel reception bar restaurant are nice the rooms are a little tied but always clean and tidy overall a good stay i do think they need more staff some times there is quite a wait at the bar"

"We had a fantastic stay. The staff were so nice, we were celebrating our 4 year wedding anniversary, our room was upgraded, and we were given a free drink at the bar. We felt so welcome, the staff were amazing. Would defiantly stay here again. Thank you for looking after us."

"Most of the hotel was in good shape, but our room (321) had a mildew smell and there was rust and mold/mildew in the bathroom, especially around the bottom of the door where it hinges. We loved the dining and lounge area, and found the staff to be very helpful. Breakfast was a little confusing and disorganized; for such a busy time it was clear that more staff should have been working. We liked the location and general ambience."

"A lovely Inn with very friendly and helpful staff. A great location if you are planning to visit Chatsworth House nearby. The food was well cooked and good quality, it would have been nice to have a few more healthy options though. I am very happy to recommend The Devonshire Arms in Baslow as a place to stay."

"Overall we had a pleasant stay. We stayed for 1 night as we were visiting Chatsworth house the next day, and the location was convenient. The check-in process was smooth, staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was pretty standard, spacious, comfy bed. On site parking was decent The only things I can say negatively was the shower wasn't great, the toilet had a really weak flush. The floor was very creeky, and there was quite a bit of noise coming from the room above in the morning."
