Hotels near Assi Ghat Varanasi

"Had an excellent stay at The Kashi Residency. It’s close to Assi Ghat and other attractions. The staff are really helpful and always happy to help. Thanks to Ayush, Raj Kumar and all staff members who made my staff a memorable one."

"Right in the middle of the everything! You can walk to most sightseeing spots. Staff nice."

"Very nice, family-friendly hotel. Clean rooms, attentive and helpful staff, good food, great location that is walking distance to some of the ghats. "

"My regular spot in Varanasi!"

"We enjoyed the views of Ganges and mostly the courteous and respectful staff of all levels. The hotel being right on one of the Ghats, it made us easier to take a battin Ganges. Also free boat ride from the hotel property allowed us to see the entire views of all famous ghats. The restaurant staff Sandeep and Brijesh provided over and above best services. We will visit the Haveli again in the future. "

"The place is located in a prime spot, very close to the Durgakund Temple. The staff were extremely polite and helpful throughout our stay. We also appreciated having access to a kitchen, which added to the convenience. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was a wonderful and comfortable stay."

"A great hotel in a great location. One pro tip that will vastly improve your stay in Varanasi: utilize their travel agency, Trip Choice Travel, run by Miss Varsha. Varsha is an amazing woman that goes far beyond just a travel guide. For example, if I tried to get a tuk tuk to go 2 km, it should cost at maximum 100 INR. When I tried to reserve one, it was impossible to get them to go below 200 INR. With Miss Varsha negotiating for you, you can get one for 50 INR or less. She helps you avoid the...

"Great hotel!Very clean! it’s 15min to the Assi ghat on foot! I'm grateful to receive 1 liter bottles of water."

"I went on a solo trip to Banaras and booked my stay at Gangotri. The hospitality truly surprised me. The owner and staff are very kind, helpful, and welcoming. I was really impressed with the facilities. The room was clean and hygiene was well maintained, which made me feel comfortable and safe as a solo traveler. Overall, it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Banaras — it’s totally worth it!"

"景色、スタッフの対応、清潔感に対する評価であ"

"While the property was in a narrow lane (very Varanasi like), room was spacious, bed comfortable and amenities top class. You would feel a sense of history (250 year old property, owned by legendary braj bhasha writer) but at the same time a sense of being at home as the current management takes great care of your comfort. "

"A great hotel with fantastic staff. A new modern hotel with all the necessary amenities. The restaurant is great with excellent and fresh food. A comfortable room with comfy beds and excellent shower. A great option as the hotel in only a short walk to Assi Ghat too. Highly recommended. "

"We had an excellent stay at Triveni International "

"It was right off the ghat. We could walk to the aarti. Rooms wear clean. Staff was polite and helpful."

"Worst experience ever, firstly they took for ver to check me in as they hadn’t received the payment while one of your agents also spoke to them and tried to confirm the payment was done but still they wouldn’t let us in for an hour or so and the gave us a bad room with wet, swollen walls and room was smelling muggy. Then comes the bed, pillows were dirty with stains and when pointed to the staff, they arrogantly says what’s wrong with it however they did change it for another shabby ones. Floors...

"Average hotel. Accessibility is poor but not impossible. Lots of steps. Tv had not many channels. Wifi is limited. Service was ok"

"Perfect stay. The room is spacious, good bedding, clean bathroom, and surprisingly silent. There is no fridge, but the staff will get you cold water or soda in minutes. It is well located, walking distance or a few minutes tuktuk to the old city. There are good dine-in restaurants a few minutes walk away, and the usual numerous small street shops all around including two convenient malls. The manager Gaurav is very kind, super helpful with advise and tips to make the stay a very good...
