"I stayed here for 26 days, so I feel pretty well qualified to review Solace Hotel. Overall, the experience was excellent. First, the location is unbeatable. It's about a 2 minute walk to the Valdivia Metro station and is in one of the best parts of Providencia, easily walkable to tons of restaurants and shops, and close to the river/bike path. It's a much more interesting part of town than the hotel district in Las Condes. Second, the staff are phenomenal--so helpful and kind. Third, the rooms are nice, with good fixtures and a great shower, although the carpet is a bit thin and the room a bit dark (they gave me an extra lamp). Fourth, the roof deck is stunning, with incredible views, although I couldn't use the pool as it was winter. Workout room up there is nice but could use an update. Finally, breakfast is very nicely done. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel."
