"What a magical place to stay in Como. Beautiful restored palace. Our room was lovely, Wood ceiling, so much character, but modern bathroom. The bed was the most comfortable that we have slept in during our Italy visit. And it is worth staying simply for the breakfast. We have never experienced anything like it. All fresh, homemade ingredients with endless choices."

"Traveling with my husband to Lake Como area for the first time. The location is great! Easy to walk to local restaurants and many available tours from Como. Ferry is right there. Breakfast buffet was ok-there weren’t many options for a vegan like myself. Rooms and bathrooms are small and could be updated."

"This hotel was so beautiful and was located about 10 minutes from the city center of Como. The staff was so accommodating, helpful and sweet. They went above and beyond arranging transportation, booking reservations,, etc. The hotel restaurant was delicious and we loved having drinks in the evening at the lounge bar. Our room was quite spacious and was immaculate. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again if I ever come back and stay in Como."

"I love our stay here! The workers and the place was excellent! It was so quiet and relaxing. We took a day trip out to Florence and it was so easy to get to. Nearby about 20 minutes is the Castello di Monteriggioni. Must check it out and the nearby winery. We tried going to the city of Siena but it was too hard to drive as there were a lot of ZTL. The food at this place IL grono was delicious. Love the breakfast as well!!! The cakes are delicious!!! Definitely a place to stay when u come...
