"The location in Barcelona was a 10! It is a beautiful, new property and the room was outstandingly handsome. The floor of the shower was slippery so I placed a towel on the floor as I felt unsafe. The staff was helpful with directions and actually allowed us to check in at 11 am. There could be more surfaces for bags in the room so they didn't have to stay on the floor."

"Perfect location in the Gothic Quarter. The staff os AMAZING! Stayed in a Superior room and it was very nice with lots of space, well-equipped and had a small balcony with a beautiful view of the Quarter. If you're a light sleeper you might want to ask for a room away from the street as the Quarter is pretty lively all night long. Not loud...just lively. Loved everything about this hotel!! "

"We spent 3 days in Barcelona the Hotel California. It was a little hard to locate at first but we found it was so convenient to the Ramblas, the Boqueria, even the metro. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Hotel staff were very helpful and personable. We are going back again this year and bringing friends and family."
