The only con was there was a lot of noise outside the hotel which was a little distracting. "

"This place was perfect for our family of 5. With a greater selection of breaky options and softer beds it’d be a solid 5/5. I’d read reviews on the location but we felt perfectly safe the entire time. Yes there’s prostitutes in the surrounds and homeless people sadly living on the streets, but they’re perfectly harmless. We loved the area and how accessible it was to transport, historic centre, Polanco etc. We will definitely return. "

"Downtown Hotel Mexico, was fantastic. Great location in the hub of the city, a short walk to the main square & cathedral. The hotel is in a historic building, which has a lively vibe with 2 restaurants in its coutyard. For more of a relaxing atmosphere, head to the rooftop bar & pool, which have great views of the rooftops. Staff were extremely friendly & helpful, with the hotel in great condition, clean, given the age of the historic building. If you are after a quiet retreat, it may not be...

"Nice overnight stay. The Hotel Dharma was really easy to get to from the metro. It was a funky low frills room with a great lobby and a very helpful, and 24 hour front desk person."

The water was hot and had good pressure. The location was a short walk from Zocalo plaza. The walls were pretty thin and we often heard the neighbors."

"This hotel is in the best place, in the middle of everything. You can see the zocalo and the cathedral from your room. It is a bit older but that is part of the charm. There are so many iconic things to do around there and so close by. You can walk to many places. Location, location, location. "

"The property features many options on site for yoga, ecstatic dance, do sets, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooftop view and the restaurant were great. The staff at the cafe were also nice. Convenient for both exploring the city and museums. East access to Roma Norte, La Condesa, and the Zócalo. Airport was a short inexpensive cab away. Will be staying there again on my next trip to Ciudad de Mexico."
