"The room was pretty minimal with a desk, dresser with TV, small fridge and coffee maker. Sink was in the main room area and the toilet and shower in an enclosed bathroom. Beds were not the most comfortable and full size. Our room was near the stairwell that lead down to the restaurant/bar so it was pretty noisy until after 10pm (also went during spring break, so may have been extra noisy during the timeframe). Wasn’t much space for we clothes. No balcony for our room or chairs outside. One clothesline in the shower. There were some hangers in the closet. Great AC in the room and two small windows near it in the bathroom that could be opened to help air dry wet clothes. They provide beach chairs, towels, and umbrella which was a great amenity! You could walk out onto the beach and stay right there for swimming and relaxing. Waves are decent sized, so not appropriate for young children. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. "

"Punta Borinquen Resort was a cute comfortable place to stay. All their staff were friendly and helpful. However the bathroom and room need more cleanliness and upkeep. Besides that I enjoyed my stay and food what good as well."

"Everyone we interacted with was friendly and courteous. Even the "nature view" casitas can still see the ocean, and we loved having our own private pool, although the hotel pool is beautiful, too. The adventure experiences with Jorge were highlights of the trip—we did an ebike tour and learned how to eFoil on the river, neither of which we'd ever done before. The food at the restaurants was fresh and delicious, even though the service was pretty slow. I highly recommend the quick hike down to the beach, where you can crack open a coconut with a rock and drink the water while watching the waves crash along the rocks."

Isabela town center is clean & authentic (but up a steep hill from volle jammed at times). "This place is an absolute scam, they asked me for my ID and a zelle payment as a deposit for the property, I waited over 4 hours and was never given any information as to how to access the property. We were locked out past midnight trying to access the place we had already paid the deposit and the nightly fee. We had to contact Expedia and luckily they were able to set us up with accommodations that were not super convenient however we were grateful. I have messaged the owner multiple times with no success nor any refund. It seems like some people have had success booking this place however do not roll the dice as the owners are non-responsive and your deposit is free income for them if you don't get the room. We tried multiple numbers and even expedia could not get a hold of them to remedy the issue. "

"VMH has been a place where my family has vacationed since 2010 and this time around we found the accommodations to be subpar. If you’re looking for a room at the beach , this is a good one , but after having issues with the reservation and getting two random rooms, not what we called and agreed with on the phone with a representative, twice, we ended up leaving and staying somewhere else. In addition during the week the security is weak and a group of people in the villa above where partying till 4 am with no security answering phone or doing rounds to keep the noise down. It was a terrible first night and the party folks became aggressive and started insulting me when I asked them to keep it down. Sadly a poor experience here. I recommend that you book by calling the Parador. They do not know what to do with these reservations online. They mix everything up. Better call them. "
