"The staff was friendly and accommodating. Their system doesn’t allow you to check in and not have the key card work until exactly check in time so it creates a long line. As you can assume if you done stand and wait tempers get a bit heated when people try to cut in. The rooms were very clean, however, it is older and the staleness from the carpet is apparent. One non smoking room clearly had a cat that sprayed and it was absolutely awful. Beware there are smoking rooms and even if you don’t have one you can still smell from next door. Also the lights on the outside bleed inside with shades drawn. It’s bright when dark. Overall exterior/interior was fine. Needs some updating but certainly not over $120/night would rate at 2.5-3 stars "

"Nice stay close to lake land airport"

"This Hotel was the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Outside smelled like a dead animal, inside the room was filthy, like it had never been properly clean, items falling off the wall, not level or rusted, you could only take a shower, there were stains, cigarette burns etc on the sheets, bath mat, towels and dirt, trash and small toys under the bed. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was completely covered in dust. There was a roach in the room, and it had a dirty smell. The counter sink was cracked, and glued or something. I would have complained but based on observations, it wouldn’t have made a difference. This hotel is a flop hotel. You couldn’t pay me enough to stay there again. I would have looked for another hotel but it being Easter weekend, plus the plans we already had, along with us needing to be in that area and a pet friendly hotel, it wasn’t an option. Please email me if you’d like to see some pictures, I have plenty! This was the biggest let down of a hotel and I don’t see how it passed any inspections! "

"Had a nice stay for overnight, chose to leave early before our second night because the AC fan had to be figured out in the middle of the night due to a humid room, so we didn't sleep well & didn't want to do another night. The room (203) also had a strong sour smell; couldn't figure out if it was the AC or the carpeted floor area? Fridge iced up but kept a couple of cans of soda cold. The shower was hot but the spray head was not great & it soaked the bathroom floor through the flimsy shower curtain. There is no air vent in bathroom so it stays a little humid. The tub was slippery so if you have kids or even yourself please be careful. Room was surface clean, & the floors left our socks really dirty. TV had a lot of channels. Plenty of seating, storage areas, outlets for chargers. Beds/pillows were comfy with a strong bleach smell. Lobby is nice, providing free coffee, water. There's a smoking area, play area, pool, fitness ctr at the back of the hotel which was nice. Breakfast was good with a lot of hot/cold food options & plenty of seating. Nearby to Publix, restaurants, gas & Legoland/Peppa. Overall, would stay again if needed."

"Only spent 1 night in this hotel but what really stood out is how clean it was and how friendly all the staff were. The location was near the Brandon Exchange too so it was convenient when I needed to have my phone screen fixed. Things to consider would be that breakfast ends at 9:30am. For someone who comes from Asia/South Florida that is way too early LOL The pillows were comfortable but my preference would be not that thick. Other travelers love it so that’s another pointer. Overall, it was a great place to stay! :)"

"The AC was amazing and worked great, toiletries were stocked, towels clean, the pool was beautiful, clean and a great temperature. The common area behind and around the pool was beautifully kept and very welcoming. The staff were absolutely fantastic and such a pleasure to deal with. The breakfast was constantly refreshed and stocked up as well as kept clean. An amazing property and this will be the only place I ever stay again if im in the Tampa area."
