Visit Fuentes for great Mexican food and super service. Fort Concho was very interesting. Eggemeyers is a fun place to shop.

Downtown area is beautiful, as is the Rio Concho. Sorry the Railroad Museum is open only on Saturdays. We were there in the middle of the week and it would have been nice to have been able to explore it.

It seems like there's a lot of nice people in San Angelo. We took our little dog and they were very gracious about allowing her to stay there. She only weighs about 8 pounds anyway but they were very gracious and kind and we appreciated the hospitali
"Everyone was super nice!! The front desk people are very helpful; needed our room serviced, she called housekeeping (it was done fast, quick & in a hurry).. The only thing is housekeeping needs to be more attentive to dusting. I had to use my inhaler & all my allergy meds plus steroids the entire stay to survive the dust and not being able to breathe (I was congested the entire five days I was there).. "
