Learn more about Dennis Port
Warm-water beaches beckon along Nantucket Sound, where Haigis Beach and Sea Street Beach offer swimming spots that don't require polar bear courage. Cape Cod cottages in the classic architectural style line streets named for the ocean they worship. The Cape Cod Theatre Company stages performances worth interrupting your beach day for. After building sandcastles, follow your nose to local clam shacks where seafood arrives so fresh it practically introduces itself. Main Street's shops provide lighthouse-themed souvenirs, but the real treasures are conversations with longtime shopkeepers. Pleasant Road Beach and Cliff Metcalf Memorial Beach provide alternative spots to spread your towel, while Swan Pond River offers quieter moments away from peak season's delightful chaos.

Jonathan Edwards Motel
"Pet friendly and affordable for the area"
An English Garden Bed & Breakfast
"Very nice B&B. Very close to the beach. Rooms are excellent. Most appear to have balconies. There are compact refrigerators on each level (not in rooms) for use by guests. Also a small microwave oven. There was construction next door while we were there but it was not a problem. It will be a brand new park next year and should make your stay even better. The breakfast room is very nice with plenty of windows and seating. The breakfasts are ‘chef’s choice’ for that morning. We were there for 3 days and one day we had pancakes, another eggs and third morning french toast. We would happily stay there again."

"Room was very clean"
Bluegreen Vacations The Breakers Resort, an Ascend Collection Resort
"The "resort" was clean. The pool and beach were nice. The loft that the kids had had a living room with a TV. The adult area was a master bedroom with a private bath. The master bedroom was small that the bed took up so much room there was no room for a night table. I had to put my CPAP on top of a narrow garbage can that I brought in from the kitchen. We had a kitchen and off to the side of the kitchen was the jacuzzi, but NO door or curtain for privacy. You can have breakfast with full view of the jacuzzi. In addition this "resort" required us remove our trash upon checking out. A Motel 6 doesn't make you do this, but this resort where I paid over $300 a night makes me take out my trash!"
Cutty Sark Motor Lodge
"The room was very clean. Staff was great and friendly. The issue is with the bathroom. The tub was very slippery and did not have any hand railings. My friend and I used the tub for quick hand washing. Thank goodness we did not go swimming in the ocean. The pool was nice. We were unable to find a local TV channel for news and weather. This was the time to say, "Thank God for Cell Phone Apps"."
