"Shower had hairs, there was no hand soap in the bathroom. Pool too small but okay. You had to rent your beach chairs (never had this not being available for guests). Bought all inclusive, includes 2 meals + 4 drinks per day, it's $48 per day/per person, food is mostly fried stuff. But you can redeem at Bar Louie - South Padre Island - Courtyard by Marriott which was good You are charged for parking, plus a $70 deposit. I got stong at the sea and needed to head to my room to take my allergies medicine, only to find out that my keys were not working, after heading to the front desk I found they had disabled my keys on purpose because the lady at the front desk gave us more drinks tickets than it should have been (they never specified how many you get), and they wanted us to go to the lobby to give back the extra ones and insisted we give them right there when we only had some and had to get to the room for the rest. Breakfast is not too good, similar to a cheaper hotel /motel but okay. Beach is just a few stair away which is nice. It's overall okay, but if you can pay a few extra bucks I'm sure your vacation experience can improve significantly "

"Great location old facility hot tub was way too hot and cool tub. Had a nasty film on the top."

"I guess they had cleaned the floor and left a fan to dry it, it was so slick I nearly fell, I am 78 and a little unstable so it was a big concern. Also it was so dark, not nearly enough lighting. Water pressure wasn't very good either"

"Room was clean, staff was great, parking was good and the AC was cooling. Overall great place to stay "

"I arrived late in the evening around 12:00 AM to check in and the receptionist Rey was really caring and informative. He was understanding of how tired I was and got me checked in really quick. Room smelled great for being in a humid area. The rooms are very spacious and the pool was pretty nice. For being on the first floor, the room was very quiet all night and I never heard the upstairs neighbors. I really enjoyed my stay here and look forward to staying here again. The water was a bit cold in the morning haha but great if you need to wake up fast! Normal for this time of the year though given that they turn off the boilers to be eco friendly during non-peak seasons. "

"Best price on the Island and met all my expectations but definitely not high on amenities. Free breakfast was not bad. Coffee maker in the room didn’t have all the parts, but I can get a free Senior coffee at Whataburger that’s better anyway. I will come back here if I am not bringing my significant other. But for me for a weekend with buddies, two good beds, a TV, a hot shower, a swimming pool and free breakfast close to the beach and plenty of good places to eat and have fun works!"
