Fantastic Boutique Hotel, food was excellent and the staff were all fantastic! Highly recommend this place for relaxing stay.

My sister and I traveled to Joberg to visit a friend who had stayed here on a visit and has since moved to this lovely location of the world. The security at this property is top notch. Every vehicle entering the gate is scanned and intent is verified. The reception at our arrival was so genuinely warm and professional. Busisiwe and Foreman made us feel welcome and special. You will be in a quiet relaxed neighborhood. The free shuttle service which drops you off and picks you up within a 5km radius makes life so easy as this includes Sandton mall. 300m from the hotel is a small shopping mall with lovely restaurants. You can take a stroll or if it’s too dark you can just take the free shuttle.The hotel is just so peaceful and you can have drinks nicely relaxed on the pool. We had an excellent stay at the Southern Sun Katherine Street and would happily stay here again. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always eager to help, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
