Mandela's House is just one of the attractions in Soweto, Johannesburg so you might want to stop by during your trip. If you want to experience more of the culture Johannesburg has to offer, head to Maponya Mall, Orlando Towers, and Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.
You can spend an afternoon studying the exhibits at Hector Pieterson Museum and Memorial during your trip to Johannesburg. While you're in the area, find time to visit its shops.
"Great hotel on excellent location. Helpful, reasonably priced, lovely music in lobby, But awful incense perfume in lobby, very nauseating for people who are eating at restaurant or who are allergic to perfume or scented products or air."
"Very well located 5min walk from Rosebank Gautrain station. It was easy and convenient to make the return journey to the airport.
The staff were all very polite and attentive, I interacted with security, reception, restaurant and cleaning staff and all were exceptionally helpful.
I appreciated the hotel preparing a packed breakfast for a safari trip starting early before the breakfast buffet was opened.
I had the breakfast buffet on 3 mornings and it was excellent in terms of variety of foods, quality of ingredients and taste.
The gym was very well equipped with weights going up to 30kgs, a cable machine and 2 fully functioning treadmills allowing me to follow my training programme uninterrupted.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable and there was an adequate supply of towels and basic cosmetics in the bathroom.
Water, tea and coffee were topped up daily as part of the room clean.
Overall fantastic stay, I have no criticisms "
