"The Mamasara staff was amazing and attentive. Unfortunately the area across the street is a little run down. Although breakfast is included, there is no option to eat lunch or dinner in the hotel. However, there are plenty of places to eat within a 5-10 minute short walk down hill. My friend who stayed with me had severe altitude sickness and I had to attend a dinner with a hiking team. "My wife and I are visiting Cusco from Dallas, Texas. We had a wonderful stay. The host spoke English and was very kind and helpful. He showed us how to operate the appliances. There was hot water in the shower, a gas stove, washing machine, refrigerator, TV with Netflix (big plus), and electric portable space heater (another big plus).
