I travelled with my family to Johannesburg in July 2023. We had a wonderful experience during our stay at the Holiday Inn Johannesburg Sunnyside. The staff was friendly and always ready to assist, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel's location was conveniently situated for tour pickups and in a safe area, making it easy for us to explore the city. We had a fantastic 6 night stay. There are a few options for breakfast and the service is always friendly and welcoming (great cappuccino!). Be sure to close out your evening at the bar where we had great conversations and enjoyed live music (as well as generous pours on the G&T). The hotel is on Grant Street and surrounded by a number of restaurants, shops, and close to a grocery and pharmacy. It is in a very safe and convenient location. A major shopping center is right next door. The staff are incredible and the facilities are good and well maintained. Meals are great too and they have a nice lounge and bar near the pool side that gets quite busy

I will highly recommend The Capital on the Park. I have been staying at the hotel since August of 2023 . I never had any problems or complaints. The food is always great the ambiance is great. Definitely a winner!!

This is a very nice hotel. Our travel itinerary had us flying into the Johannesburg airport late afternoon and flying out the next day, so we booked this because it looked close to the airport. It is actually attached to the airport, above the parking lot, with a fully enclosed walkway from baggage claim to the hotel. (Grab a luggage cart, it is a long walk.) The hotel is surprisingly nice!
