Hotels in Castillo de la Duquesa

When we booked this hotel, we somehow thought it was in Marbella and right on the beach...we were wrong on both counts. It is in Casares (near Marbella) and is about a 5-minute drive up the road from the beach. No matter, it has its own private Beach Club with prompt shuttle service. While the Beach Club is beautiful with a wonderful restaurant and spectacular pool, the beach itself is very uninspiring. As far as the hotel property, the grounds are stunning and the rooms are immaculate, with...

Beautiful hotel overlooking marina. Excellent breakfast and the near by restaurant.

Is my second time in this hotel, great service, spacious rooms. pretty clean and the view is phenomenal!

Great hotel, great location, great staff.

I stayed at El Pilar last March and returned for one night because of the service, location and beautiful property. The front desk is always helpful and always wear a smile. The recognized I had been there in March, so check in was easy. The roof top bar is awesome as is a light breakfast downstairs.

It was an excellent experience at this hotel. Highly recommended and will plan to return to this one.

No tengo nada que decir negativo porque me encantó la propiedad

Everything, and I mean absolutely everything, about this stay was perfection. The staff, the property, the location, the service, the food, the amenities. We are ruined on any other hotel forever because this was so wonderful. Thank you, Fairmont!

The hotel is located near every convenience imaginable: supermarkets, local bars and tourist bars/restaurants as well as the beach within a 5 minute walking distance. If you want to feel you are living in a traditional Andalusian home with a glorious courtyard and have modern conveniences, this is your place. I will certainly return when next in Estepona.

This B&B is run by a lovely couple, doing everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Nice close location to beach. Super breakfast service!

The apartment was super clean, great to have all the amenities you need, and loads of space with huge balcony and amazing views. The beds were confortable. The area super calm, access to a private parking is a plus plus for shopping. You need a car to move around as its a bit far away from the center. But by car you are 5min away from shops and restaurants. The pool was a nice to have. And the service all along the residence were super friendly. Its definetely a place to come back

Love our stay it was clean and in a great area. The staff was very helpful and we really enjoyed our time. Would go again.there is many restaurants in the area if felt very safe . We loved Estepona great place we also did a day trip to girbraltar which was fun. The people there are very friendly and the beach and bars are just steps away.

From the lobby, to the room, the workers , the breakfast was magical . Definitely will come back here . The environment is safe and in such a fantastic neighborhood

Spent two nights here in late June 2024 in and ocean front room. Hotel was recently opened and in great condition; sleek rooms with simple, yet classy aesthetic. The breakfast is top notch; the pool is lovely coupled with great beach access. Am now staying at a very fancy and much more expensive resort near Marbella, and feel METT was the far better option, especially for the price. Not exclusively adults only, but definitely felt more that vibe - highly recommend for those traveling without...

Clean and safe hotel across the road from the beach. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Good value for the money

Amazingly beautiful hotel, fantastic for golf lovers. The Spa is one of the most beautiful I ever saw, and I travelled a lot around the world. On view an antuques collection of more than 1200 pieces, impressive.

We booked last minute and the room was ready for us. The property is lovely, and the room was very comfortable and spacious. Would def stay here again. Thank you

We had a duplex apartment, and it was very nice. The only thing negative that we can say about it was that there was a problem with the hot water in the upstairs bathroom. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again.
