"Great place to stay in Playa del Carmen for budget travellers. The location is perfect in the best part of town: restaurants, supermarkets, shops, beach all in walking distance. All staff members are friendly and helpful and the hostel is spotlessly clean. Free breakfast, rooftop pool and co-working space are nice perks. Showers are spacious and always have hot water. I extended my stay and for sure will be back again!"

"Perfect location, friendly staff & nice rooms."

"Super clean property. Gated parking. Staff was incredible!! Breakfast was perfect. Walking distance to the beaches. It's a bit far from Quinta, but a good walk if you're up for it. We definitely will be back. Super comfortable room; rooftop pool; everything was excellent."

"Great spot great hotel no hot water."

"Such a lovely stay. We stayed for 10 days. The receptionist was so attentive and helpful, the rooms were modern and clean. Overall 10/10. Perfect location as well, right off the busy 5th ave but quiet and only a 5min walk to the beach."

"We had an excellent experience. Very clean, peaceful, and the location was ideal for those who enjoy walking and exploring the city. Close to shopping, food, bars, and the beach. We will stay here again in the near future."

"When we arrived for 5 nights, the receptionist said that they had no record of the booking from Expedia! I produced my hard copy of the reservation. We were able to stay for 2 nights only as the hotel was busy, and had to find another hotel for 3 nights. Unfortunately this is the second time that a reservation with Expedia in 6 months was not recognised by the hotel. Our previous problem was with Polwaththa Ecolodge in Sri Lanka in February 2025 and that was fully paid! The hard copy was...

"Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, Air conditioning was nice, room was amazing, close to Quinta 😝"

"The room was small but convenient, with efficient AC. Hosts are often nearby and very responsive via Whatsapp. Balcony is a must! The beach, lots of restaurants and grocery stores are within walking distance. The only downside would be the noises of the minifridge and of regular life in the neighbourhood, but it's still much more quiet than near Quinta Avenida. Overall a very pleasant base to explore PDC!"
